Membership Process
Fill application form
Anyone who wishes to become a member should send a completed application form to the Secretary of the association. The Secretary will then forward the application to the membership development sub-committee for further processing. The membership will be deemed to be effective as soon as the applicant settles his membership fee.
Screening
The sub-committee will then screen the membership application and make recommendations to the managing committee for approval. Each applicant needs to have a sponsor who is a member of the association. If the applicant does not have a sponsor, the sub-committee will designate a sponsor for the applicant.
Membership payment
Once the application is approved, the Secretary will inform the applicant and request for payment of an entry fee of Rs. 100 and the annual membership fee of Rs. 1,000.
Renewal
Members are required to renew their membership on an annual basis by settling their annual membership fee, failing which their membership can be terminated as set out in the Rules of the association.
